Drusera's Statue and off the map

I know, I know, 2 days without a new post. There has been a reason though. See on Friday it was my birthday, and as such I spent Friday and yesterday doing birthday things. So I do have an excuse for not updating.

I also applied to be an Official Wildstar Fansite...but got turned down :/ Apparently I need to have my own domain name and on minimum wage that isn't going to happen. Plus it doesn't really need to happen as blogger suits my needs just fine.

Anywho, back to my gaming...basically I've been running round kicking the asses of creatures that originally caused me issues. My fave was helping a group of level 24-26 players take down the Exile Ravager. Despite being DPS, as the highest level and therefore the one with the most HP I somehow became the tank for the group. It was beautiful to take that sucker down though.

Also casually been running round. I found out that the quests in Crimson Badlands and Northern Waste are things that the other players call 'Dailies' in that they repeat every day so you can farm exp from them. I'm actually quite glad I did find that out as I thought there was a glitch or something. Couldn't understand why I had to repeat quests.

In Grimvault, while filling out my map, I found a rather interesting area called Drusera's Statue (my home girl has a statue) And a rather pleasant area totally off the map. There were no enemies there and I could get from the top of Southern Grimvault all the way to the lab at the top of Western Grimvault without going anywhere near an enemy of evil exploding strain pod thing. In fact it was a rather pleasant journey :)

A wander round Whitevale also turned up a few quests I'd missed out on as well as an Exile camp I found (damn Exiles) and some Eldan ruins underwater. See it's the little things like that, that I'm really loving in this game. There is no way the creators could have thought that someone would go swimming in some water practically of the map, and yet they put some ruins down there. I like random things like that :)

First Adventure

Oooooo just did my first Adventure in Wildstar, War of the Wilds, and I loved it. I'll admit I didn't have a clue what the heck I was doing, I was just pointing and shooting but hey I got number one damage dealer in my team so that has to count for something right :) Plus I was doing it with friends so I knew there'd be no flaming if I did mess up. Always nice to have that stress free environment when doing something new like that. Very enjoyable though :) Can't wait to try more of these. As I don't have any screenshots of my adventure times (see what I did there?) I'll leave you with several I took of Lyghtning over today as I tried to get some nice shots of her. I really love her look and can't wait to experiment more with her third costume. I mean i've made her a third but it's very basic at this time :)

These guns go so well with this costume :) Got a new pair of pistols today that go really well with my 1st costume. Will try and get a picture of those tomorrow.

Oh and this happened....

So yeah, while walking round i noticed all of the enemies were talking about me in their little speech bubbles and i just thought it was a nice touch :) This though made me laugh. It's like a bad pantomine.

She's behind you.

Metal Maw....how's about no

So while on my travels I came across several quests that eventually led me to the creature called Metal Maw.

This guy has over 5 million HP. And one of my tasks is to defeat him?!?!?! How's about no Wildstar. Just no XD

Motorbikes and zombies....awwww hell yeah XD

My current tour through Whitevale brought me on this wonderfully crazy and hilariously fun task of riding a motorbike at squirg zombies. The aim? To mow them down. Not going to lie, I had an insane amount of fun and continued well after I'd met the total to complete the task :D

I have to say that between organising a bunny wedding, watching Pacific Rim acted out before me and now plowing through zombies on a  motorbike, Whitevale has had my favourite tasks. I'm loving what i have to do here :D

Though today did take me near some wonderful area to stop Ikthians from doing something or other with magical water crystals and...yeah, i kept getting my ass handed to me. I spent most of my time there dead or having to get help from Exiles *spits* Dirty Exiles. Still didn't beat the quest there. Stupid bad guy goes and gets in some bad ass robot just when you're about to kill him. Totally forgot rule 101 of RPG bosses 'this isn't even my final form'. Just silly.

Also, underwater swimming happened. Why did i now work this out sooner??? Although Rexy cannot swim...at all. He just vanishes. Damn dinosaur.

Freaking Lopp

These little bunnies have had me running all over the place for flowers, shells, shinies and drunken grooms-men all for a bunny wedding. I'm ready to throttle the little rats lol. Had to have a quick assessment of my gear too as the enemies in this new area were doing a very good job of killing me. Originally i could only take on one at a time. A mob would KO me. Repaired some of my stuff though (what does that actually do?) And realised i didn't have all my best kit on.

Running really low of inventory space though and i can't seem to find a bank anywhere in Whitevale and am loathe to try and find my way back to Illium. My problem is i want to

keep all my clothes and gear to try and make nice costumes from lol XD

New Costume!!!!

So i've just arrived in Whitevale and my first port of call was to do something with the 2nd costume slot. So, tadaa!!!! New costume!!!!

Not sure which costume i prefer yet. Currently leaning towards costume 1, but i do like this one :) Now to explore Whitevale. This is the first contested area i've been to and i've already seen some Exile players running around.
